TV Presenter, Folk Herbalist and Co-Founder of X-Con
Jayne Harris is a television presenter, author, folk herbalist and experienced paranormal researcher whose work explores the fascinating meeting point between the unexplained, human consciousness, folklore and the old ways.
With more than two decades of experience investigating unusual phenomena, Jayne became widely known as a presenter and paranormal researcher on the hit Discovery series Help! My House Is Haunted and Celebrity Help! My House Is Haunted.
Her television work has also included Paranormal Captured for Sky,
Unexplained: Caught on Camera and other programmes examining extraordinary experiences, mysterious footage and some of Britain’s most intriguing alleged hauntings. Most recently she has featured as a guest presenter on 3 series of
Weird Britain for the History channel.
Jayne gained international attention through her investigation of Peggy the Doll, one of the world’s most widely recognised allegedly haunted objects. The case took her to Las Vegas to film with Ghost Adventures host Zak Bagans and renowned medium Patti Negri for Deadly Possessions. Peggy now forms part of the collection at Zak Bagans’ Haunted Museum, and Jayne’s story also inspired an episode of the Zak Bagans and Eli Roth series The Haunted Museum.
Alongside her work within television and the paranormal, Jayne is a qualified Master Herbalist with a background in psychology and counselling.
She is the founder of The Little Herb Remedy and Ostara Events, through which she shares herbal knowledge, teaches courses and hosts retreats, workshops and gatherings inspired by nature, folklore, wellbeing and personal transformation.
As Co Founder of X-Con, Jayne has helped create an event where the paranormal meets popular culture, bringing together television personalities, researchers, performers and curious minds from the worlds of hauntings, UFOs, cryptids, folklore, horror and unexplained phenomena. Her vision is for X-Con to be welcoming, entertaining and wonderfully difficult to categorise: not a paranormal convention, not a comicon, but something entirely its own.
